Kim has been an invaluable part of our organization, and we are so excited to see the impact she will continue to make in this new role. In our latest blog, Kim shares more about her new role with STA. 

I am passionate about student travel and believe all children should have the opportunity to learn and grow outside of the confines of a traditional classroom. My journey with School Tours of America began three years ago as an Educational Tour Specialist, working with many wonderful teachers who share the same passion for educational travel. Earlier this year, I took on the crucial role of Tour Promotion Specialist. This role has allowed me to focus on supporting teachers and families by implementing the following tasks:  

1. Creating promotional materials such as contests, flyers, and social media posts to attract potential participants
2. Collaborating with schools, teachers, and educational organizations to promote tour packages and generate interest
3. Assist with Parent Meeting presentations and information sessions to educate potential participants about the benefits and features of educational tours
4. Assist with email campaigns and social media platforms to drive registrations and increase visibility
5. Tracking registrations to assess the effectiveness of promotional efforts and adjust as needed.
6. Working closely with the sales team to support their efforts in promoting sold tours.
7. Providing customer support and answering inquiries from teachers/group leaders or parents/ participants about their trips.
8. Keeping up to date with industry trends and competitors to identify promotional strategies.
