The “Let’s Go Scouts” Program Awaits!
by Tyler Howerton
As Scouts nationwide eagerly anticipate the 2026 National Scout Jamboree, an unparalleled opportunity awaits to enrich this experience: the “Let’s Go Scouts” program by School Tours of America (STA). Designed to complement the Jamboree, this program offers Scouts a chance to delve into the rich history and leadership heritage of Washington, DC, either before or after their Jamboree adventure.

An Official Jamboree Tourism Partner
We proudly announce that School Tours of America has been selected as an official Jamboree tourism partner! This recognition highlights our expertise in creating exceptional travel experiences for Scouts while reinforcing our commitment to education, leadership, and adventure.
Aaron on Scouting will feature our program in the May/June edition, and the Boy Scouts of America Parent newsletter and the Boy Scouts of America Volunteer newsletter will spotlight us in upcoming editions.
Additionally, STA will be present at the National Annual Meeting, where we will have the opportunity to connect directly with leadership from 241 BSA Councils. This event will allow us to share our incredible programs personally and provide troops with a unique opportunity to enhance their Jamboree experience.
Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders
The “Let’s Go Scouts” program is meticulously crafted to provide Scouts with an immersive experience in Washington, DC, where they can:
- Earn badges
- Engage in leadership programs
- Explore iconic sites that have shaped our nation
A cornerstone of this experience is STA’s Signature Leadership Program, developed by Retired Major General Andrew W. O’Donnell, Jr. This initiative brings distinguished leaders from various fields to inspire and educate Scouts on character, leadership, and citizenship. Each Scout will receive a unique challenge coin to symbolize their participation in this elite leadership experience.

Your Troop. Your Timeline. One Unforgettable Experience.
STA understands that every troop has different needs. That’s why we offer customizable 3- to 5-day packages that fit your Jamboree plans. These all-inclusive packages cover transportation, hotels, private security, meals, sightseeing fees, licensed guides, and even medical insurance, allowing your troop to focus on enjoying the experience.
The 2026 National Scout Jamboree (July 22-31, 2026) at Summit Bechtel Reserve promises to be an unforgettable event. By integrating the “Let’s Go Scouts” program into your troop’s Jamboree plans, scouts will gain a deeper appreciation for American history and leadership while making lifelong memories.
